Another season of LVIC Adult League hockey is officially in the books.

After a full summer of regular-season competition, playoff races, upsets, and some incredibly close championship games, five teams finished the season by raising a division championship.

This postseason was especially competitive. Three of our championship games required overtime, another was decided by three goals, and the final B Division championship came down to a single goal.

SUMMER 2026 CHAMPIONS

A Division — Momentous HC

A DIVISION — MOMENTOUS HC

The A Division produced one of the most exciting finishes of championship week.

Momentous HC advanced through a competitive A Division field and met Rustic House in the championship on September 2.

The two teams combined for 13 goals before Momentous HC finally ended it in overtime, taking the title with a 7–6 victory.

Rustic House 6 — OT

In a division that included Vegas Empire, Bombers, The Phoenix, Rustic House, and Momentous HC battling throughout the season, Momentous was the team left standing when it mattered most.

B DIVISION — DISTRICT-5

District-5's championship run required going through the postseason rather than entering with a first-round bye.

After defeating Montucky Magic in the quarterfinal round, District-5 faced regular-season leader Puckaroons in the semifinals and earned its way into the championship.

Waiting for them was Lach Injury Law.

The final game of the entire Summer Adult League schedule turned into one of the closest championships of the season. Regulation wasn't enough, and District-5 eventually secured the championship with a 2–1 overtime victory.

C DIVISION — BULLS

Few divisions were tighter at the top during the regular season than C.

The Bulls and The Rockets spent the final stretch battling for first place and ultimately entered the postseason as the division's two top teams, earning first-round byes.

Fittingly, both survived their semifinal games and met for the championship.

The Bulls took control when it mattered most, defeating The Rockets 5–2 to finish their playoff run with the C Division title.

D2 DIVISION — PUCK YOU

D2 had one of the closest regular-season races in the league.

Puck You, Purple Cobras, and Crispy Biscuits entered the final stretch separated by only a few points, and that competitiveness carried directly into the postseason.

Puck You survived its quarterfinal against HydroShield Seals before defeating Really Okay Hockey in the semifinals.

Crispy Biscuits came through the opposite side of the bracket, setting up a championship between two teams that had been near the top of D2 throughout the season.

Once again, 60 minutes wasn't enough.

Puck You scored the deciding goal in overtime to defeat Crispy Biscuits 4–3 and claim the D2 championship.

E1 DIVISION — REBELS

The Rebels entered the postseason after establishing themselves as the team to beat in E, finishing the regular season at the top of the division.

But playoff hockey doesn't hand out championships based on the standings.

After advancing through the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds, the Rebels met The Fury in the E1 Championship on August 30.

What followed was another overtime battle.

The Rebels eventually found the deciding goal, defeating The Fury 6–5 and completing their season with the championship.

Congratulations to the Rebels — Summer 2026 E1 Division Champions.

D1 DIVISION

The D1 postseason featured one of our deepest playoff fields, with Atomic Kittens, Black Jacks, Vegas Sins HC, Just the Tip-Ins, Reapers, Castaways, Drunken Knights, and Green Bats all earning postseason opportunities.

Vegas Sins HC and Atomic Kittens ultimately advanced through the bracket and met in the championship.

The game finished tied 2–2.

Due to the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the championship game, a D1 champion was not awarded.

35+ DIVISION

The 35+ Division came down to The No Stars and Vegas Nights after both teams advanced through the semifinal round.

The division continued to provide competitive Monday-night hockey throughout another season, with Gunga Gulunga, Vegas Nights, Guest House, and The No Stars comprising the playoff field.

A POSTSEASON TO REMEMBER

There was very little separating our championship teams this summer.

Three championship games required overtime:

1. E1: Rebels 6, The Fury 5 — OT
2. D2: Puck You 4, Crispy Biscuits 3 — OT
3. A: Momentous HC 7, Rustic House 6 — OT
4. B: District-5 2, Lach Injury Law 1 — OT

Four overtime championship games across the final week is about as close as a postseason can get.

From teams fighting for the final playoff spots during the last weeks of the regular season to overtime goals deciding championships, the Summer 2026 season gave us plenty of memorable hockey.

After a season of late nights, close games, and hard-fought playoff matchups, the finalists are set. Six division championships will be decided over the next five days at Las Vegas Ice Center North.

Championship Week began early with the Adult Fremont (35+) title game on Monday night.

Over the next three weeks, teams across the LVIC Adult Hockey League will compete for a spot in their division championship. With quarterfinal matchups set and several top seeds waiting for their semifinal opponents, it is officially playoff time at Las Vegas Ice Center.

The Summer Adult League season is entering its final stretch, and the playoff picture is beginning to take shape.

With division titles, first-round byes, playoff positioning, and final postseason spots still on the line, every remaining game carries added importance. The next few weeks promise to deliver some of the most competitive hockey of the season.

PLAYOFF ELIGIBILITY REMINDER

To participate in the playoffs, players must have a minimum of six games played during the regular season.

Captains and players are encouraged to review their rosters and confirm that all games played have been recorded correctly. Eligibility concerns should be addressed before the postseason begins, as ineligible players will not be permitted to participate in playoff games.

A DIVISION

The Bombers currently lead the division with 32 points, but the race for the top seed remains close. Vegas Empire sits just behind with 30 points, followed by Momentous HC with 29.

The Phoenix and Rustic House remain in contention for the fourth and final playoff position, making the final weeks of the regular season especially important.

A Division continues its regular season through Wednesday, August 19, with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals.

B DIVISION

The Puckaroons currently hold first place with 36 points, followed by the Mini Sticks with 32 and District-5 with 29.

The top two seeds will receive first-round byes, creating an important battle between the Mini Sticks and District-5 over the final two weeks of the season.

The race for the remaining quarterfinal positions is equally close, with Here 4 Beer, Lach Injury Law, and Montucky Magic separated by only one point.

C DIVISION

The race for first place could not be closer, as the Bulls and The Rockets are tied at the top of the standings with 38 points.

Both teams have secured first-round byes, but the final regular-season games will determine which team enters the postseason as the No. 1 seed.

Net Sticks & Chill currently holds third place, while Castaways, Thunder TP, and Super Troopers continue to battle for quarterfinal positioning.

35+ DIVISION

Gunga Gulunga has secured the top seed with 35 points, while Vegas Nights currently sits second. Guest House and The No Stars round out the four-team playoff field.

With one regular-season game remaining for each team, the semifinal matchups are nearly set:

The Atomic Kittens lead the division with 41 points, followed by the Black Jacks with 38 and Vegas Sins HC with 36.

While the top teams continue to battle for seeding, the most important race may be at the playoff cutoff. Green Bats currently holds the eighth and final postseason position with 23 points, while The Fury remains only one point behind.

The top eight teams advance to the quarterfinals, with matchups following the traditional No. 1 vs. No. 8, No. 2 vs. No. 7, No. 3 vs. No. 6, and No. 4 vs. No. 5 format.

D2 DIVISION

The D2 standings remain wide open heading into the final weekend.

Puck You currently leads with 42 points, but Purple Cobras is only two points behind, and the Crispy Biscuits remain just three points out of first place.

Really Okay Hockey and Odin’s Guard are also tied with 26 points in the battle for the fourth seed.

All eight teams advance to the postseason, meaning the final games will determine matchups throughout the entire bracket.

E DIVISION

The Rebels have secured the No. 1 seed with 51 points, while The Fury and Neon Knights currently occupy second and third place. The Degenerates sit in fourth.

The battle for the final playoff position remains extremely close. Puck Ems and the Reapers are tied with 22 points, while Bloodthirsty Blades and Really Okay Hockey remain within striking distance at 20.

Only the top eight teams advance, making the final weekend critical for every team near the playoff line.
